Encouragement for women in Heaven

     Men in churches can treat women as beneath them. With many, women are suppose to serve men and not allowed to do much else even if they are more skilled than men. Some women can become frustrated to say the least especially when she has men around her that may lack in how to get things done. Yet, many generations of women have learned how to encourage men in ways that allow them to think it is the man's idea to get the job down as she continues to serve the men as the work is done.  Humble women can encourage men around them to excel even if men lack at times. Who truly can these women be serving greater than men?

    It takes a strong women in many areas to remain humble in such frustrating situations with men when they are clueless. At times, around some of these type of men if the women does open appear smarter she can be very much resented by them as they can trumph up many words against her. Yet, some through the generations women must realize something deep within themselves a peace that only God can give them as they remain humble and serve quietly.  These women have learned about the value of serving and how even Jesus Christ repeatedly in the Gospels talk about serving others including as He gave examples of it himself to the disciples as He washed their feet in John 13.

John 13: 13-17 (KJV)

13Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. 14If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. 15For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. 16Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 17If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

     Repeatedly in the Gospels it repeats, "first shall be last, and the last first".   If men who let their pride and the desire for power rule them as they walk over other men and women, what dangers are ahead for them?  If a man mistreats women his whole life especially as he believes it is his God given right to do so, what could that mean for eternity for them? Let's say if he makes it into heaven yet on earth he wanted to be and was treated like a king, where is his place in heaven? Who is above him? Those on earth who served others have a different value in heaven than on earth for all eternity.

     Our Lord is not blind and knows the motives of our hearts. Humble men who lead with a servant's heart are wonderful to be around as they are blessed by God in many ways as they live. When men value who women are and work together with can be a beautiful team. It is a joy to serve these kind of men and others on this team. Women with the humbleness and strength of faith of a personal relationship with Jesus are blessed for all eternity even if life on earth is challenging. Our lifetime on earth is but a breath compared to all eternity.

I am so glad that God sees the hearts! I know some high and mighty men who will be surprised when they reach heaven! I am so glad that God gave me a quiet, humble man who I love!

Bullseye!

It's really a shame that we women allow this to continue today. Women have been teachers of the word of God since time began. Jesus used women as positive examples throughout Scripture. Think of it. Who was last at the cross, first at the tomb. The list is endless but certain men of faith are weak and cowardly and therefore afraid of the truth that is within God's holy word. The best thing for women to do is search the Scripture then present the truth to these weak men and expose them.

Contrary to what is taught women played an important part in the early Church and their roles were highly valued and respected by the true men of God. Men and women both have been appointed to fulfill their God given roles in this life but are equal in Christ in every way. There are many men who preach that shouldn't and likewise there are many women that don't and should.

Great article!

@The_Winds_Dawn -  Your comment is a wonderful addition. I have been wanting to write it for some time. The desire for power and human pride can affect men and women equally as both can be damaging to each other or both.  Many times, I have not spoken up when I should have. Yet, the peace I had was that I knew God was watching and over time, He would have patience and be fair even if  in my lifetime I did not see it.

     I do believe serving others is the key to leading and actually loving people to get through to them if their heart is open.  Many consider humbleness as weak but they don't see the strength of eternity behind it as God blesses. Yet, for those weak ones on earth that must demand power over others to feed human pride it does reveal faith of which they live by and in what as there are many options out there.

      I have seen destructive women as men who lead stand by and do nothing also. I have been a coward at times, instead of standing stronger when prompted to do otherwise. Yet, growing in faith is about patience and following when lead amongst other ways to grow. How many blessings do we miss out on when we don't?

@Whatisfaith -

My husband and I attended a reformed Baptist church while he was going through Seminary. We bought into it hook, line and sinker. Things just didn't add up. Once my husband learned the Greek and we started to look into the word carefully it was more than clear that the sit down and shut up attitude was mans word and had little to do with the words of Paul let alone God's word.   A great place on-line to go and learn is called The Christian think tank. There you will find many thought out Biblical views on Paul and women,Jesus and the roles they played in the early development of Christianity. The views on the site are a mix of Calvinistic doctrine and Armenian. We believe more in line with the Calvinistic doctrine but together the balance out to what we believe is Biblical Christianity.   Were all guilty of remaining silent because we don't want to be viewed as radical feminists who don't understand their place, but with knowledge comes incredible freedom. Freedom has it's price,but bondage I believe has a higher price. Should women be Pastors is a question that must be based upon God's word and nothing else. Most of the Pastors in the churches today are men and to be perfectly honest most are cowards. I pray that you seek God's truth above (man) made doctrine.   May God's peace be upon you in your quest.
