  • Romans 8:31

Romans 8:31 What shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (KJV)

I use to tell that verse over and over to myself during different times or situations. As I have become older, I understand it better who can be against us. Yet, also my faith grows stronger still realizing God defeated the enemy and his schemes he can use.  Greater our faith allows God to work more. God will not give us anything we can't handle. God is amazing!

Very true even though sometimes we FEEL like it's more than we can handle, such as what happened with Job.

I Peter 1:6-7 - "Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now FOR A SEASON, IF NEED BE, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: THAT the TRYING OF YOUR FAITH, being MUCH MORE PRECIOUS than of gold that perisheth, though it BE TRIED WITH FIRE, might be FOUND UNTO PRAISE and HONOUR and GLORY at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

    I Peter 4:12-13

Beloved, THINK IT NOT STRANGE concerning the FIERY TRIAL which is to TRY YOU, as though some STRANGE THING HAPPENED UNTO YOU: BUT REJOICE, inasmuch as ye are PARTAKERS of CHRIST'S SUFFERINGS; that, when his glory shall be revealed, YE MAY BE GLAD ALSO WITH EXCEEDING JOY!!
