  • Bob dealing with complications

A couple days ago Tom saw his Father's eyes open and assumed he was alert and looking at him.  He later found out that that was not true as his Father is under heavy sedation.  He was given some peace by the Doctors that his Father's medications that will help him not remember this ordeal.

Currently, I praying that our dear healing Heavenly Father and praising that the fever will take care of what it needs to do and go away. Likewise with the other complications since this has been happening. I continue to pray for peace for the family and friends that are in that area being so supportive through prayer and many other avenues for the family there.

I praise the Lord for working in many ways there. I pray this is a time where faith in our Lord will become stronger as we fight what we can't see more than what we can!

Why do I have a special concern for my Sister's Father-in-law? Tom's family lost their Mother as we lost our Father within a year of each other before the fall Holidays. Tom's Mother died of a quick stint of unexpected cancer that was discovered after the holidays that year as our Father was killed instantly in a wreck before the Holidays that next year.  Our families for the next few years did holidays together which was a wonderful blessing.  Bob remarried a wonderful Christian lady who was a friend of the family whose Husband died of medical issues. God has wonderful ways of providing of things.  Yet, this wonderful couple continued having my Mother come with my Sister and Tom when they went for Christmas time visit each year basically since. It was a relief to me that my Mother was able to go with my Sister as I normaly work through the holidays. For some reason people don't stop getting sick or injured during the holidays throughout the year.

God has blessed our family as my Sister married Tom in wonderful ways including through Bob and spending those first Holiday seasons together. We also get together for Easter back then as it was considedered as big as Christmas and Thanksgiving.  Bob has been caring whenever seen as Tom has shared him with us. We share our Mother with Tom even if God has blessed him with a wonderful Stepmother and additional family. Tom's younger Brother Rich has a sense of humor that can light up a room. Years pass as we all have moved to various parts of the country but the memories are cherished of times spent together.  Spending Thanksgiving with Tom, Rich, and Bob during those years helped us all deal with the lost of dear beloved family members as the first years can be the most difficult.  God works in wonderful ways even if we don't understand at the time. God is still in control and hear our prayers! Praise the Lord for the answers He gives us even when we may not understand them at the time!

Tonight, I work my first fully shift since the accident. As I pray for Bob, I know without a doubt God heals despite what people including Doctors can think. God can do the impossible!! With God all things are possible!!!! God's strength, grace, mercy, and love extends far beyound our comprehension!!!!!  Praise the Lord!!!!!
