Taking some online classes
Hello! This year has been amazing in ways of growing in various ways. Yet, I realize I must grow in other ways also for what the Lord can be leading in the future and current time. I'm taking some classes on line which is taking up computer time otherwise spent at times. Yet, in turn these classes will aid in helping others if and when the need arrives. The world is an ever changing place as events unfold.
We have doubts at times where we are being led at times due to various reasons. Yet, this year confirmed many for me. Some say they need a frying pan to knock some sense into them but I think I needed something bigger due to being so stubborn!!! Yet, it showed me things I did not realize before. We can be so entrenched in man's way of thinking that we can't see beyond in what God is doing. In ways, it has been a sifting experience which I believe will continue for sometime. I know I'm alive for a reason. I don't want to waste it! Or, fail in that reason given to me as I discover more and more of it.

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.
Humans will betray you throughout life in various ways. Yet, God is a constant source of strength we are given a choice to follow. Yet, to grow in a relationship with God does take time and a desire to seek. It is active not a passive choice to make. I can sit down and relax during watching TV but what do I learn? It depends on what channel I chose to watch. If I want to remember a good recipe shown to me I can't just sit there and remember it but must take action to write some notes down to remember it.
This verse and others similiar are becoming more real to me. We can read them or hear them but until we sincerely act on them they don't start sinking deeper into our lives to live by. A life of faith is based on acting in it not just watching people and words go by us as we passively watch. When we learn things do we apply them? Do I act on them? Or, passively let them go by until I see it go by again. I may mean or intend to do something with them but do I in reality?
Am I just going to talk about this verse or actually practice to live by this verse? What I do will affect who I am able to encourage and how God blesses later in life.
I must admit, after being single all these years, I do think I have been trying to act on this verse in at least one way!!! I pray I continue to do it in many more ways!!!

I encourage you to continue acting through and based on your faith in Jesus Christ.
I did several online classes and absolutely loved them. The flexibility was just what I needed. They were every bit as challenging as the "real classes," but in a different way.

@Christenstein - Jesus Christ is the only rock foundation to build ones life on due to all other is sinking sand. Sad is when many can fool themselves on the foundation they have their life built on.
When ever I have doubts I pray and look to the lord for guidence. Good luck with the computer classes and have a happy Christmas!!!
@nidan - I do like the flexible time with the classes and don't have to drive to a place. Yet, it does not take the place of classes at work! It is good to learn. When we are not learning, we may not be living! Merry Christmas to you!
